Sean P. Morrissey and Loring Taoka will open their two-person exhibition, SUPERNATURAL, at Union Hall in Pittsburgh, PA. on 5 September 2024. The exhibition explores how both artists come to terms with identity-making and the markers of the individual within social systems. Their differing visual languages—Morrissey relying on architectural elements, Taoka using geometric patterns—allow both artists to engage with and rearrange everyday imagery to pose questions about the self.
An opening reception will be held on 5 September 2024 at Union Hall from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The exhibition will run until 29 November 2024.
